We are pleased to present our latest newsletter to you. In this edition, you can read about the most recent events and developments at the DIS as well as in arbitration and dispute resolution in Germany any beyond.
As you can see from this issue, a lot has happened at the DIS in the last two months! We launched the German Arbitration Digest, formalised cooperation agreements with CEIA, CIAM and ICA and strengthened the collaboration with the BUJ.
On 12 September 2024, DIS has started the German Arbitration Digest (GAD), a new service to the arbitration community to promote Germany as an arbitration venue.

Berlin Dispute Resolution Days 2024: Bigger and Better than Ever
The Berlin Dispute Resolution Days was anchored around the DIS’ autumn conference and offered participants the opportunity to engage in more than 30 “side events” across Berlin running the gamut from industry-, sector-, country- and region-specific panels, to practice-oriented discussions, networking opportunities, cultural activities, and even a firm launch.

DIS@SAF: To be, or not to be sandwiched – The new DIS Supplementary Rules for Third-Party Notices
The Seoul ADR Festival (SAF) was first launched in 2015 under the support of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) and since then it has grown into an internationally recognized ADR event.
This year's conference is being organised by the Liechtenstein Arbitration Association (LIS), the Austrian Arbitration Association (Arb|Aut), the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), the Swiss Arbitration Centre and the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
In the coming months, the DIS will be supporting a number of interesting events related to inter-national arbitration. We will keep you informed as soon as concrete information becomes available. Stay tuned.
